A new Mustang flexplate from TCI provides a bolt-on upgrade over the stock component. It is a must converters. Late model Mustangs are capable of producing tremendous amounts of horsepower and torque. The SFI 29.1-approved, TCI Ford Mustang 5.0L Coyote Machined Flexplate provides the strength, rigidity and durability required for the most powerful applications from the blue oval. The machined center section is thicker than stock for increased torque capacity, while the complete unit is e-coated for durability as well as rust and corrosion protection. Precisely controlled run-out helps prevent interference from the starter to the ring gear and results in better balance along with less vibration and wear. Designed with a 164-tooth ring gear and exclusive to TCI , the Ford Mustang 5.0L Coyote Machined Flexplate is designed for 2011 and newer Mustangs, along with other applications utilizing a Ford 6R80 transmission. It is compatible with both 457000-series and stock torque converters.
