TCI StreetFighter Converter for LS engine with 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L70E

Designed with the street/strip application in mind, this torque converter benefits more radically prepared street machines (those with performance cams, aftermarket carbs and higher compression ratios) to bring the launch RPM in line with the performance enhancements. The StreetFighter lets you take advantage of horsepower gains found in higher RPM ranges. Furnace-brazed fins, needle bearings, hardened pre-ground pump hub, computer balanced, installation hardware included. NOTE: 1998-02 F-body LS1/LS2 applications and 1999-Up trucks with 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L engines (300mm applications). Will not fit 1997-2005 Corvette. Bolts included. Higher RPM launches, quicker reaction times, lower elapsed times, better low- and mid-range power, 1500+ RPM increase in stall over stock.
